Wow, the KATU news (link above) reported that the porsche was not damaged. I guess Ms. Melanie Wingo has never heard of (or seen a) Maseratti. Accurate reporting? If you don't know a fact, DON'T JUST make something up ... .. just use the general term "vehicle" or "automobile" or "car." Maybe the police should arrest the reporter.

I would arrest her for being clueless and pretending to report the news or failure to give an accurate account of historical events. While I am not happy that someone ran into the dealership, I am really bothered by someone who has not done their homework and reviewed all makes and models of Ferraris and Maerattis.

Hmmm... "achohol not a factor"? Meth head or an exhausted college student strung out on Red Bull? Taser target!

Just saw this on the news. Glad no one was injured!

...as I am really bothered by someone who has not done their homework, and has spelled Maserati wrong - twice! ;)

(Before anyone asks; Yes, I am infinitely more bothered by the grammatical error in the thread title.)

I'm no professional, but the mugshot sure made her look like a meth-head. Plus, Fox says: "After police initially reported drugs were not a factor in the incident, a police spokeswoman said officers now believe there's a possibility that Lavezzo was under the influence of drugs."

I even went back and edited the post due to a spelling error and missed the biggest one of all - Maserati. At least I didn't misspell Fararii. Whew - that was close.

Oh, I'm quite sure its not a customer. Seeing the mug shot I'm guessing someone who is "disturbed". I think the better question is if she intentionally was bashing an exotic dealer or just some walls with her car.

The dealer declined an on-camera interview, but sources were saying that she is not connected in any way with the business.

My guess, just your run of the mill nut job trying to quiet the voices in her head.

Heard story she had been promised was 1st on 458 Italia list at dealer...then told earlier that day that dealer had misplaced the list and needed to start over--suddenly showed up at #20 :)
