Now it's rain for Friday! Gosh and it looked like Friday was going to be such a nice day... let's hope the weatherman is wrong.

Rain Friday, huh? Mom still needs to be retrieved. Either my Ferrari or by Ford. Lunch is certainly inviting, but I need to get back to Jersey right after.

    And by the way--

They sure do use salt on (at least some parts of) Long Island! The roads are practically white from the stuff. It's true that road policymakers on Long Island have resolved to use a combination of salt and sand, but they certainly have not abandoned the usage of salt.

Now I don't know for sure who exactly decides on the policy of salt usage. I am pretty sure, though, that each town takes care of its own roads and decides accordingly how that should be done.

Having been out & about in the Ford.....lots of salt on the road. Unless we have rain by Friday mid-day, the 308 is going to stay tucked-in the garage :(

But if y'all are up for lunch, that works for me!

If this is a run to MacArthur airport in daily driver... then how about stopping at Dave and Busters for a 355 video challenge? D & B's is right off the LIE at exit 57 (which is the same exit as the airport, coincidentally) If we aren't driving real ferraris we can at least drive video cars... ANy interest?

Cafe Royale: chicks are all busted (as of last week)

Jillians in Farmingdale also has the 355 Challenge and arcade (and is close to 52 Fighter Squadron luncheon place)

SO, Clyde, how about lunch at Jillians? You'd have to leave there at 2 to get your mom, so maybe show up at Jillians at 11:30 or 12?

    Slight change of plans.
I need to pick up Mom tonight at the airport. In a couple of hours (don't ask  )

But I'm probably still up for a drive or lunch if everyone else is so inclined. Just need to be back in Jersey by 4:00pm
