    Faster than Ferrari F430

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1st round of the annual 1650m top speed competition driven for this year
and got 272 km/h. No improvement in speed compared to last fall thus more bhp, but wether this time 10C higher temp and headwind instead of tailwind.

Over all I'am pleased with the result and in the end of the day cars like
Ferrari F430 (271), Dodge viper (258) where left behind

Of course, I would too, but when you build your car with your own hands and put a run down, it is a lot more satisfying than anything else.

Thanks for posting Jaws, I can't believe I missed this over at SC.
I agree with your above comment as well. Anyone can buy speed, but it doesn't compare to building it yourself :)

If it was, the steering wheel would have jerked 90 degrees every time he changed the gears from torque steer
