Yup, got that seriously good news (Have numerous cousins and nephews in uniform in Iraq) on CNN as I was creating this pic - I mean - before it showed up on CNN. The Iraqi Reporters at the ongoing News Conference are ectstatic - they started shouting "Death to Saddam!" once Bremer opened the Conference by simply saying, "We got 'em." A lengthy round of applause and cheers rang out from the audience, as well. Later, once the first videotape released reached the point where Saddam was displayed alive and well during his medical examination - the Iraqi reporters again stood up and shouted "Death to Saddam!" Those who've been following the breaking story may have also seen several Iraqi's reacting to the news of capture prior to the News Conference by shooting weapons into the air. Must be quite exhilirating to be rid of a dictator, to say the least. Hopefully, this will break the will of resistance fighters and restore morale of those who feared Saddam might regain power someday and settle feuds - his way. An early Christmas for everyone this year. No doubt Hussein is breathing a sigh of relief this morning along with the rest of the free world. He must know he'll be treated fairly and with at least some degree of dignity by his captors.
I'm watching "O Globo" TV now and they are showing Hussein stroking his fake beard and Iraqi's dancing in the streets in Baghdad....waving flags, firing weapons and chanting. They have shown the 2 metre deep cave where he was hiding in Tikrit as well. I hope the mullahs in Iran and that little dog eater in NK are developing ulcers as they watch this unfold. The only problem now is that the worldwide looney left will whine about trying him in the Hague......heh.......if that happened he'd probably be acquitted !!

Wow I woke up really early for a Sunday morning and decided to watch some tube while eating my PB&J... didn't expect to see THAT guy on the local news. Good deal! This is great news of course.
