    This statement is so patently false and contrary to facts which have been public record that it only serves to discredit the rest of the comments he made in that interview (ie, he was not forced out of Ferrari by LdM).

    Well he obviously didn't want to drive with Kimi. He thought, and rightly so, that with FA heading off to McLaren he'd have a great shot at the title in 07 if he stayed around. So all that i don't have the mental capacity stuff might have been true but i doubt he wanted to retire this year. If Kimi had signed elsewhere i'd be willing to bet he would have stayed.
