Ya think?! This is the kind of stuff the factory should be turning out. Good thing for us Jimmy has the vision, and the balls to do it! You listening Ferrari? "McFly, McFly, helloooooo, anybody home?"
Jim, Did you ever received a reaction from Maranello about your project, and what did they say? And I noticed that the badge on the front of the car is gone, why? Xander

Im now putting my plans in place to tag along (with a friend who is driving) to this years VLN 24.. hope to see the car do well there.. also, i notice that the car is as yet unbranded, is it a done thing that it will have the prancing horse on it or do you have to get permission from the factory?
I noticed that too. I hope it is not the case, but perhaps the explanation is similar to this story: http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/03/ferrari-threatens-to-take-legal-actions.html >8^) ER
What a test. I had an amazing experience. The changes we made since our last test were very helpful and the car drove really well. I could really feel the difference. All of our Drivers did very well and gave us a lot of very valuable input. I was so happy to see and meet several Fchatters who came to watch and make videos. I was also stunned by the number of people who are following this project on Utube and FB. Our video was #1 on Utube Italy (Automotive) and we had 128K+ daily views and 1.5 Million 30 day views on FB. I was also very happy with the questions that the Press asked. La Republica sent a very interesting reporter and a photographer who got some great shots. Their report should come out in about 2 weeks. We also got nice coverage in AutoSprint. ( We did point out to them and all press that there is no official Ferrari involvement in P 4/5 Competizione as we always have). I especially was amazed by our Sponsor Pirelli who brought along 80 sets of tires for us to test! They put a special data acquisition system (that's the light you can see in the video's coming out from the bottom of the car) that gathered a lot of very valuable data and I really look forward to our next test in a few weeks. We learned a lot and will make a number of changes but basically this one works and I'm very hopeful. I was very touched by the Hotel Key even if they got the NART part wrong. some of us live in areas where we aren't so lucky, and prob will never see this and the P4/5 (one of my fave cars of all time..still waiting for you to paint or wrap her in jet black in person. i've been following this thread closely since the beginning, like many here on F-chat, and i really don't care how the P4/5C fares in the upcoming races (though i wish you the best), all i care about is how ridiculously cool the car is, and how lucky we are to be a 'part' of your endeavor. again, for the hundreth time, bravo Jim. thanks a bunch!

Some styling cues look familiar... http://www.eurocarblog.com/post/3925/alfa-romeo-4c-gta-to-production
Wow. Definitely looks familiar. "Built by Dallara..." is the best part. Interesting that it's recent and not all over the internet. I haven't read about this thing yet. Thanks for the article!
