Was it the cumulative stress of hard driving or the terrifying moment where you were clouted from behind that did it? Also... I remember your rear puncture was on the left and the mechanics looked like they were trying to repair some damage to the lining of the wheel arch during the pit stop - could that have contributed?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Both racing stress and accident stress.

We'll be beefing up the entire chassis and suspension.

That's just amazing to hear, especially considering how beefy everything looked to begin with! :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I'm guessing the loosening up refers to suspension joints and attachment fittings coming loose and not necessarily structural yielding, yes?

Can you provide any details about what is being redesigned?

After seeing pictures of the night racing I have to ask if there is any chance we'll see LED headlights on the 2012 spec P 4/5 C... their freedom of design could allow you to further customize the P 4/5 C's already stunning looks

Everything including structural yielding. Keep in mind we're making a lot more downforce than an 430GTC and even a 458GTC. With our new nose and sail we'll make even more.

We're redesigning everything and our engine builders are changing a lot as well. With restriction we think we can make 500HP in endurance trim from a 430 Block and it looks like KERS is a real possibility for better range and more torque.

I plan for attending the 24H Nürburgring 2012
Farnbachers 458 will be sold, so you're the only race car F powered there!

As fun as it is to see her race on the track I bet you can't wait for the day you get to see P4/5C sitting next to P4/5 in your garage.
