Saw a 99 355 F1 Coupe, burgundy metallic on tan for sale at Chaplin's in Bellevue today. I think they're asking around $86k for it ... looks like it's in pretty good shape too...

Spotted a white Mondial SB on Cemetary Rd in Renton. Fellow FChatter? First Ferrari sighting in this area except for mine. Except for FOS owners who occasionally bring one home.

There is a yellow 355 Berlinetta that lives in Arlington that I have seen numerous times. I keep trying to catch him but we keep meeting going the opposite direction.

There is a yellow 308 lurking in the corner of my basement that I need to flush out. Time for some Decon I guess.

There is no Decon that is designed for 308's. You will have to use some Danacon.

    Phil,

Not a frequent poster but always looking, was taking the Mondial out to deliver airfreight to the airport. Much more fun than using a van. There are a few other F-cars around the Renton area, most notable is neighbor Ken who is a frequent attendee at events and is currently dipping his toe into the dark side pool.

Nice car. We don't see enough Mondials. By the way, your 348 wheels are on backwards (fins not pointing the right direction).

Willis, that's a lol moment. I always blamed my lack of sheer speed on hp, now I know the real reason. Actually don't know which way I prefer them, kind of like the Guillotine effect as they are. Haven't noticed any squirrely behavior so won't sweat it at this point. Good catch.

The intention for the fins on the 348 wheels, per FNA website, was to draw air away to cool the brakes.

Not sure if, or how much, it affects performance though.

You sure it's not a GTS with color matched top. Elliot I think it was joined us on the cobra club trip last year. Great looking car and I think he said he lived up that way somewhere??

Ran some errands this morning and spotted a Ferrari of Seattle license plate frame on the back of a Saab. Didn't see the driver's face.
