I really think, though, that it's about time that they repaved the track. They seem to be proud that it's never been repaved, but I don't agree. While a world-class racetrack doesn't need to be billiard-table smooth, it shouldn't have jarring bumps like that. Some people may think that the bumps give the track "character", but I find that opinion ridiculous.

Hey guys, sorry if I missed it but, did they figure out why the #83 AF Corsa RM WEC car flew through that turn and crashed early in the race?

To me it looked like something broke before the turn or a stuck throttle but idk.

Leading up to Sebring this year I was sanguine about it being on the schedule, especially following the world class event of the 24 hours of Daytona. The track and facilities seemed like such a throwback.

But now I'm sold on Sebring and say they shouldn't change a thing. It's good to shake these cars up some, makes things more real and kind of crazy at the same time.

Besides, the schedule is filled with pristine tracks that are nice and smooth and actually have camber and fancy pants paddocks. No need for Sebring to try to be one of those. The crappiness is what makes it special.

From what I can tell, this was a damned good event. Not always easy to pull off in racing.
