Set a Date for Fchat Rallye Scotland 05

(Might work out cheaper than the combined petrol bill, and 350 miles up the M6 is not as much fun as the French/German motorways)

 

I would also prefer the Ferry from Belgium to Scotland.

 

I think I'd prefer to do a 2 day stint. Tuesday to northern europe, bearing in mind that Didier, Christoph, Eugenio etc are travelling from further south. All meet up together, for a beer and one or two of Ton's slippery nipples. Then wednesday morning on the boat to sunny Scotland.

We'll arrive relatively fresh...get pissed on wednesday night and have a hang over so bad it will **** up the rest of the week. A bit like every other rally we've organised...ehh Trevi (Schwetzingen)

 

I think I'll drive to Belgium first to join in!

It's more watching the master at work with the corny 'I just want to talk' routine.

 

yeah...we're all gettin older

but i thought there's a ferry overnight? so we could drive up to belgium during the day, get on the ferry in the nite, get fukced and pi$$ed on the ferry's bar and arrive hangovered as usual in scotland on the next morning.

I think the dates into august are the best for me as i will never be let off of school for 2 days in a row let alone 4

Looking back through this thread I have confirmed the date several times!!

3rd - 7th August (you should be arriving at Rosyth 10.30am on the 3rd August).

Hotels I am in negotiations with at the moment. Working hard on this, but no point posting half information so please be patient - it will be an event to remember!!!!

Not to worry wolfy. This is coming together to be a great event taking in most requests people have put in so far, at more reasonable costs than previously considered.

 

Hi Marc, I don't know yet if I'll be able to find spare time in August (in Switzerland it is a full working month - usually critical in our business to meet unrealistic september deadlines!!) but please update me on the costs - what is the bottom line at this stage?
