Here's the bedmate to my GTB dry sump... Dread to think what they get up to at night. Not sure who the boy / girl is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tjsbeers- what is the yellow Porsche? Is it just customized, or an RSR or something? It's beautiful regardless!

My GT4 shares a garage with my ur-Quattro. Both have been off the road for years as life has gotten in the way with family and also employment with a company that expects 24/7/365 involvement. When I retired the job was replaced by health issues so cars are way down the priority list. If I had more space in my 1200 sq. ft. garage (it is stuffed full), my GT4 would also be accompanied by a Triumph TR4a that was recently given to me by a friend. It had been parked in his garage for nearly 40 years following an accident. She currently sits on my trailer in my son's driveway awaiting space in his garage. Today I was able to revive it from it's extended sleep and start it up. It seems to run great. It is a restoration project with my son who happens to be in the body shop business which certainly helps a lot.
"accompanied by a Triumph TR4a". Gotta love a TR4! FUN, simple, clean, easy to work on and bullet proof. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had just such an incredible experience last Monday, I just háve to share it. Got the opportunity to be a passenger in a Donkervoort D8 GTO. Handmade car in my country. It weighs, due to the use of a lot of composite materials, just 695 kilo's, and is powered by a 5 cylinder 2,5 litre turbocharged Audi engine. Official 380 HP, in real life over 400 HP strong. You do the math regarding power to weight ratio. So 8 super-fast laps on the German "Bilsterberg" track, the car driven by the very experienced and skilled Denis Donkervoort, son of the founder of the company. It's almost impossible to descripe.. Brute, raw power, acceleration and brakes like you have never experienced before. NEVER, trust me. A 100% neutral chassis with rediculous levels of mechanical grip. Everything, NOT needed for hardcore driving, is absent in the car. EVERYTHING. I've driven a bunch of Alfa Romeo track/race cars, a formula Arcobaleno car, and a handful of Ferrari's, F50 included. This Donkervoort eats them for breakfast, burping discretely afterwards. I want one. Can't afford it, not yet. Swapping it for #19055 would leave me with quite some left over cash for maintainance, gas, brakepads, slicks... I had my first almost sleepless night for as long as I can remember.. Is this car/brand known in the US of A in the first place ? Image Unavailable, Please Login
First time I have heard of that manufacturer. Sounds like a beast. A ride in a friend's Lotus 7 replica scared me enough!
Here is one of my 328 live-in partners. I have had it forever, just keeps working, has never let me down. Image Unavailable, Please Login
