Firstly, i know there are a lot of people on here who believe that a Ferrari should remain as it is when rolled of the production line at Maranello. So I apologise if this thread upsets you.

I personally believe that any car should be an extension of your personality and be customised to their owners wishes. My cars are not museum pieces of art, they are motor vehicles that are made to be driven.

So here is my shopping list:

    # Novitec suspension
    # Forza Exhaust valve controller
    # Fabspeed equal length headers
    # Fabspeed 200 cell sports catalytic converters
    # Fi Exhaust F1 version with diamond black triple exhaust tips
    # upgraded 458 Speciale Carbon Fibre Intake Plenums
    # MyRicambi Carbon Fibre engine bay (air box, lock cover, under screen, side panels)

Some of the above will be DIY and some installed by a local tuning shop.

i will keep everyone informed as my shopping list progresses.

    Thanks

I agree with you and we have similar tastes in regards to mods. I also went with the Novitec springs but went with the Kline Inconel exhaust which comes the controller. Planning on Kline Inconel headers. Went with the Carbonio engine compartment carbon fiber, highly recommended.

Sounds awesome, can't wait to see the finished product. How low are you planning on lowering her? I am in the process of doing it to mine and I am working on the perfect combo. I was thinking 15mm in the front and 20mm in the rear or 25mm or 30mm all around. What are you're thoughts?

This is the single best upgrade you can install on the 458 IMHO. I love it!
I'm also going to do the CF air box as well. Looks great in the engine bay.

One thing from my shopping list installed. this was not a DIY, I had a local tuning shop do the install.

Front was lowered around 35mm and rear 30mm.

As you can see i have the factory OEM front axle hydraulic lift which is a must if you are going to lower the car this much.

Item number 2 from my shopping list installed.

    This was a DIY.

First thing I needed to decide on was the location of the install. Here is where I wanted to install the controller next to the ECU in the drivers side rear upper wheelhouse.

After some mock up brackets made from cardboard to get the exact fit and location, I had 2 brackets made out of 3mm aluminium. One bracket was mounted to the existing ECU bracket and the other bracket I needed to drill a hole and use the following Ferrari part : 14189071 - BRACKET FOR SCREWS to secure the second bracket ( see below).
