    You are showing an unhealthy interest in this car!
    Meanwhile, I sent you an email regarding the images you posted of 40106 on 25/11 to your torov12 address to which I have received no reply. Information is a two way street...

    Something wrong with you ?

    Nothing unhealthy, just asking by curiosity in order to understand the link between the tuning stuffs and the fact it is the homologation car

    About your email, sorry it may have passed in the Spam, I just check now, nothing...

    I believe you are confusing with somebody else for the one way street info...

    Many thanks Olivier I just sent you a long reply!

    Meanwhile I am sorry if you didn't appreciate my attempt at humour! Coincidentally, if you didn't realise it already the information about 40026 being the homologation car is contained in the opening paragraphs of the Autocapital 4/87 article written by Pasini about 40106! As far as I am aware this was an entirely standard car although with clear windscreen and with interim double deck indicator lights, later replaced with the twin lens bumper, presumably both necessary for homologation in the various countries.

    Looking for more information on Silhouette 40026. We recently purchased it and were trying to figure out the following;

    Lamborghini Registry says it left the factory with non-std wheels and rear wing? Is this true? Any information to support this?

    I also read somewhere that it was the Italian homologation car... is this true? I think I found an original photo of the car showing the unique front lighting setup.

    I think Ivor can give you some Information about your car, congrats to the purchase.
    If I hadn't already the Jalpa I would have bought 40018 or 40002, both available that time for $45-50k!

    Congratulations on your purchase! 40026 is indeed the homologation car and is also the car in the photo. Relevant information is contained in the opening paragraphs of the Autocapital 4/87 article written about 40106 by Stefano Pasini. As far as I am aware this was an entirely standard car although with clear windscreen and with interim double deck indicator lights, presumably both necessary for homologation in the various countries. Later cars were fitted with the squared, twin lens bumper. When the car was in Germany it was still fitted with clear screen and standard wheels but the front splitters and the rear lid/spoiler were already present. Given the image taken outside the factory of the homologation car looking completely standard I very much doubt if the factory had anything to do with these.

    Btw I think there were 5 cars with the double deck lights but I need to check my notes...

    Yes the cars with double deck lights were 40020 and 40034 consigned to Austria and 40022, 40026, 40028 to Germany...

    Nor is it still painted argento. 40034 was apparently never registered in Austria but shipped to Switzerland unused.

    This I'm not sure, the owner I met who had her for many years said she was White and then repainted red, could have been silver as well.

    Yes this is the time off the year for some service work. I'm busy with rebuilding the rear shocks and rear suspension. Then I have to replace the left front wheel bearing and everything will be ready for a new APK (the Dutch TÜV or MOT). The car got now a Dutch registration and will be ready for the road somewhre in March 2018.
