    Have them blasted and powder coated in satin black. Looks exastly like original.

    Thanks. Sounds fragile. I’d probably mess it up. Better to stick with a little rust reformer touch up paint.

    If the rest of the sill looks OK, then that sounds reasonable. I'm going to be getting mine redone soon, so will take them off myself. It's the only way to be 100% sure they don't get bent up.

    Here is what they look like satin power coated with a really old phone camera in poor light. They are easy to get off. A few screws and double side tape in a few spots. Just reason it out as you do it.
