Single red light stays on, on my Cali's steering wheel

    So driving today, a single red light was on in about the 5th position on the steering wheel. I just happen to be bringing parts to the shop and looked in to it. We used multiple scanners and had some weird errors that cleared but nothing that would remove the red light on the steering wheel.

    Thought it was the tire pressure, had that error. Fixed the tire pressure, no luck. Cleared the ECU, no luck. No steering wheel errors.

    Thoughts anyone?

    Shorted LED driver circuit.

    If it continues across power up and power down cycles and especially if it comes on without any software intervention then the circuit is likely bad. Need to replace the LED module in the steering wheel most likely.
