    You need to clear the OBD2 error.

    By the way, do you have gutted cats? Or funky cats?

    I'm sure they aren't gutted because it had to pass pretty strict emissions in PA.

    Since the slow down is an overheating warning I thought there was no need to clear codes? Unless the failed ecu caused a CEL, or something is still faulty.

    When I had the slow down light and replaced the ecu I did not have to clear codes.
