Owning Diablos these past 5 years has given me plenty of opportunities to entertain "the law". Whether for speeding, no front plate, taking up 2 spaces at the mall, refueling, or just minding my own business... the law always seems to be "watching".

Any Ferrari/Lamborghini "COP-RELATED-PICTURES / STORIES", please post them on this thread

Nothing yet. I have seen them hit their brakes for no reason.
Lamborghinis tend to upset them. That is too bad.

I have been blessed so far. Triple digits and "no" cops.

Never been ticketed on my bike either. My Toyota Corolla has
been ticketed on several occasions. Perhaps I should consider
something else? Maybe it is the white paint combined with no
    front plate ?

I do have some awesome motorcycle stories that occured at night.

    Jordan no problem. Enjoy.

    Back in about 1990:

One night I was street riding very fast with about 5 bikes and we had a
light from a chopper on us. Obviously I figured that the first one to run
was going to be followed. I realized that in a few minutes the small motorcyle
pack was going to become stretched while we all struggled to slow down.
Soon we were about 100 meters apart. I put my turn signal on at about
55mph and made a proper lane change. The chopper followed the wrong
bike. The rider in the front could shut down all his lights. The rider in
the front headed with no lights towards downtown Houston. The chopper
is not going to follow a bike in and out of the tall buildings. The story is
true. I called the wife of the stealth rider to tell her that her husband
was probably in jail. When I called the husband picked up the telephone.

The other stories are your typical crotch rocket tales:

You know: I down shifted two gears after the cop made a mistake and
lit up the christmas tree too far from the rear license plate at 2AM.
Then I proceeded to do a Pac Man on the side streets.

While street racing the cops show up: It is like stepping on a fire ant
    nest.

I went past the parked car so fast they did not even bother to pursue.

    blah blah blah

    Luigi:

How did you take a picture while your wrists were handcuffed ?

I am amazed they let you out of the patrol car to take a picture.

It was very nice of the police to take the handcuffs off while you
took a picture. Was the food good in prison ?

I had an excellent BBq sandwich back in 1990 in Wilmer, Texas.
Wilmer dropped an aircraft runway on I-45 to help pickup trucks
have a passing lane and C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft have an alternative
place to land. I was thrilled to help pay for the Wilmer runway.

I am sure the Dallas enthusiasts are aware of this huge runway.

    Nice pics though.

On the way to TWS with ty for the Challenge event in Sept. He let me drive. I passed a DPS officer while the speedo was reading 140mph. No lights or siren. I got mine after all, I was hit by a drunk driver on the way back to Austin the next day. Those German cars sure are tough. I was doing 70+ he was passing on a hill(2x yellow). I got lucky. The car is still in the shop. (old site, off topic. Ford escape road test, has become long term test.)

Luigi, was it last week end? Speeding or just plate or even looking at it?
What is Loni doing there, I thought his car was out of order since the crash?

Luigi is correct. We did not want Sheila to find out.

I've had cops draw a gun on me thinking I stole the Murcielago.

Others have asked for a ride.

The most unpleasant thing aside from losing my license is when these officers follow you for miles waiting for you to slip up and then turn on their sirens and pull you over.

    Cheers

Comming back from MSR and comming into Caldwell:

About 5 miles out of town there is a small intersection. One unmarked car picks me up (going the speed limit of all things) and follows at a discrete distance. I can see him on the radio in my rear view. Just at the border of the Caldwell, he trades places with another unmarked car. Then at the top of the hill, I run into a third unmarked just at the crest of the hill. You can see the lips on the cop say "damn" just as I pass out of the radar's beam width.

I think you guys need to make a sponsor commitment to my 2004 race team. We'll fix you up with those suave "Child Advocates" windshield header logos.

It also helps to have a current "100 Club" affixed.

If you REALLY go the extra mile, a "4th Man" decal honoring Chief Jahnke
(deceased) indicates your heart is in the right place. And you support the union.

If they still write you up after all that, relax, they have a quota!

My new neighbor is HPD auto theft. He had a cute T shirt the other day with the "UR soooooo Busted" Logo. If "cute" on a 235# male is appropriate!

I used to have a bad habit of passing cops on my 79 Triump Bonneville leaving highschool. The good news is my neighborhood had dead end streets with sidewalks leading to an adjacent dead end street. No need to even try hard. Just drive down the sidewalk and wave at the nice officer as you hit the next road.

I always worried that they would get my plate. I changed my exhausts from Dunstels (loud) to shorties (really freakin loud) back to stockers (sewing machine quiet). That was probably what kept them on their toes.

I have yet to be chased around on my Vrod. I never saw many cars much less cops in Arizona and New Mexico. Now that I am back in Houston I do not want to become a speed bump...hence the frequent emails to Luigi and Ralph.

I am the one with the Vrod on the lambo club page.

    -Mike
