Algar is a very reputable shop. It's probably just a case of a sponsor stretching their options here on FChat and reaching a population they help support. Now where's mine???
I received one as well. Now that I know it was thru FChat and legit, I may offer them my silver 328GTS. Be easier than Ebay and the online places I use.
They are great people at Algar but don't expect any kind of fair market price. Just for fun I had them look at my car at the Pittsburgh show. They offered me half of what the going prices where at the time.
I actually commend them for reaching out and doing some decently targeted marketing. It's not like they're showing up at your house or anything. Most any small business would do well to locate likely respondents, send inoffensive messages their way, see what happens. As said earlier, just delete. I get 82 emails a week for 'list services', credit cards, and much other crap with zero targetability or relevance. These are small businesspeople attempting to do business.
yes i got one... legit i didnt answer cuz i didnt want the car to be flipped... i thought i was selling the car to another ferrari owner that was going to enjoy it but it was put up for sale a couple of weeks afterwards

Probably because your email is not available on Fchat. I got one and as I am not selling, I deleted it. Never thought it was a scam or anything other than a soliciitation to sell my car(s), by a very highly respected dealership.
