I came across this window in London. It was in reference to the last Goodwood Festival of Speed and had some beautiful models on display. Especially the two large scale GTO's were stunning:

They were not for sale. The shop was actually a fashion store and they used that to dress up the window.

I would speculate, that the GTO models were in the multiple thousand dollar price range if for sale at all.

It didn't say. My guess would be 1/10.

The last picture shows the 1/12 250 GTO by Revell. However this one is detailed afterwards because it looks a lot better than the standard Revell production. I don´t know the manufacturer of the other two models but I guess they are also 1/12 or indeed 1/10 scale.

I agree with you Ramon... the last one does look like the Revell 1/12 GTO, however the wheels look upgraded, dont hey? The windscreen decals are also removed. I have this model and my wheels arent as nice.

It is the Revell for sure, I used to have one of them but I have sold it about 2 years ago. I agree, they are a bit rough on details but if you spend some time and money in it, it can end up very nice, like the one in the picture.

I know the 2nd model is available in 1/18 scale. I've seen them on eBay & thought about picking one up, but never have. Its called the 330GP, right??

It's actually 1/18 P4 from Jouef. They can still be found on ebay.

Sorry if I have missed the boat on this subject but I saw the same window display in London and from memory the models were 1/8th scale (huge!) and they all looked totally hand made to me - rather than the Revell base as I have seen that model in the Flesh too and although its big - nowhere near the size of these displays.
    Great forum!

That is an awesome 250 GTO model...wish we could see the engine.

I also had a 1/12 Revell GTO that was intended for a Pocher-level detail job on but sold it on ebay.
