I installed the XDI on my Mondial. I have been advised to run a colder plug but have not been able to get a number. Can any one tell me what plug should be in a 1985 QV and what do the numbers mean for heat so I can get the colder range. NGK, Bosh, Denso I don't care.I keep trying but it is starting to make my head hurt. Thanks in advance.

I know that at least with NGK, the higher numbers make it colder. So for example, on one of my cars that I made forced induction, I went from a "6" to a "7".

Not sure about Bosch or Denso, but an internet search for those should yield results.
