It only takes a modicum of reading carefully to see I was talking about country roads and having an iota of common sense. If you are pulling away from me, or any competent driver in virtually any high performance car, on a country road then you are teetering on the edge of some serious deserved jail time. That’s a fact, everything else is anonymous keyboard warrior chatter. Most high performance cars are too powerful and too fast to reach their potentials on country roads. That is what I wrote, but you guys can’t seem to comprehend this simple fact.
lol... OHHHHH! He's saying he can win a race if neither one speed and break the speed limit on a country road! --- ya, that makes much more sense.--- I mean WHAT? Some people are just weird and insane.
After all, he did say he was a good driver... I just didn't know that meant he stays between the lines, doesn't go over the speed limit to avoid jail time and uses his directionals religiously. Maybe it's just my comprehension abilities that are lacking.
So much for this being about the speciale market ! I think they are both awesome and will be putting miles on my speciale this weekend
Yes, your reading comprehension abilities are severely lacking. As I said previously, you can’t follow a conversation or comprehend what is written. And once again you demonstrate that by imagining words that weren’t written as if that somehow furthers your point. I’m beginning to think you’re in middle school. You are a troll in a thread you don’t belong in, now scamper off.
Earlier this year, Jethro Bovingdon and Evo team compared the Speciale to the "latest and greatest" Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, Lambo Huracán STO, and Honda NSX‑R. Their conclusion, AMAZINGLY, is the same as ours - the Speciale rules! https://www.evo.co.uk/supercars/205536/porsche-cayman-gt4-rs-v-huracan-sto-v-458-speciale-v-honda-nsx-r And THIS is the reason why Speciale values are 2x, vs Pista values, at best, 0.3x. And in the future, Speciale values will continue to soar, REGARDLESS OF MILES. Here come the boy-racer turbo-fan Hyennas of this thread.... They will continue to display their insecurities by barking and whining and crying. But no matter how much noise they continue to make, it won't change the reality, which is this: The 458 Speciale is, and will forever be, the GREATEST mid-engine V8 sports car ever built. Period. Jealousy brings out the worst of the troll Hyenas in this thread.... come on losers, bark! Bark! Whine, cry, and continue as you have been. We're all used to it now, and we really don't give a sh*t. Interesting how we don't have to hijack your little Pista threads. It's only YOU who find it necessary to hijack our Speciale threads. Must go now, another mountain twisty romp, then autobahn blast of 300 km/hr, in my bada$$ Speciale awaits!! Ciao!! Image Unavailable, Please Login ‘It’s head and shoulders above the rest,’ enthuses John. That’s quite some statement in this company, but I think he’s probably right. The Ferrari 458 Speciale is sublime, magnificent, outrageous, unbelievable. To deliver this level of demonic performance and sharpness with such control and grace is remarkable. ‘Totally rounded in its abilities,’ explains John. ‘Everything fits together beautifully. The steering, the ride, the handling, the performance, the gearshift… it is a masterpiece of a car.’ That word – masterpiece – nails it completely. The Speciale feels like a moment in time, a project for the ages and a tribute to all the naturally aspirated V8s that have gone before. The Speciale is the very myth and legend of Ferrari incarnate in metal and carbonfibre. We came here to discover if the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS was one of the true greats. By the time we come to leave, there’s another question hanging in the air. Will it ever get better than the Ferrari 458 Speciale? NO!!!
PS - Speciale driving experience only FURTHER ENHANCED with Enzo seats!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolute beauty - without GAPING WOUNDS in rear quarter panels as with Pista! Pure naturally-aspirated Pininfarina-derived perfection. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh, and in case you wanted to k ow…. I didn’t buy my Pista to just drive on country roads. To purchase a Speciale, Pista or even a GT3 to utilize only on country roads seems a bit silly. These are track cars. But then again I bought a G Wagon and only drive it in the city so I guess I’m guilty of the same thing.
And why are you posting pic of a Pista on a thread about the Speciale? For the benefit of our many illiterate Pista friends, once again reiterating the title of this thread: SPECIALE MARKET. Please allow me to escort you to here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/488-pista-picture-thread.569928/
Could not agree or say or present it any better than you did! Well done! Yep, no GAPING wounds in the quarters here and that alone will make the gorgeous Speciale's stand out above the common gaping quarters you see nowadays on Ferrari's and the competition which are such a turn off. As the years go by the purity of the Speciale will only grow in how it already is appreciated by those that know. It is pure jealousy to show a Pista or anything else within a Speciale thread and they know it. Go start a Pista thread and believe me, I won't be reading it. By the way, those Enzo seats are banging!
I don’t care what you bought your Pista for. My comments about real world use on real roads stands. So now in this thread I have been called stupid for driving my Speciale, and silly for driving it on country roads. You Pista owners seem to be quite butt hurt over the Speciale. By the way, in that picture of your Pista (I presume) did you drive it on roads to the airport or trailer it there just for the photo op?
This is a Speciale thread after all: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
While I don't have 2 of them yet....hmmmm what an idea!, mine does have 2 types of Aperta wheels I can mix it up with. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hmmm…maybe I need an Aperta too!! Just frickin gorgeous! And then I would commit the horror of driving it on country roads on a sunny day with the top down!!
I wish that art work was mine but that was a picture of my car when it was in for service. Love your Aperta!
