Does anyone know what size the bleeder valves are for the brakes on the 360? I am looking at switching them out for speed bleeders and am unable to locate any details on them. Thank you!

    found my notes

    The bleeder screws are 10 X 1

    So 10 mm X 1.0 mm thread

Brembo bleeder screws M10X1 work well

Would you need 8 bleeder screws in total? There appears to be two bleed screws on each caliper (front and rear).

    TIA.

Because, frankly, easy bleed screws suck. Leak around the threads, valves fail and leak/let in moisture, etc. Best to use standard bleed screws and make sure they are exercised once a year at minimum.

I hadn't heard of 'easy bleed' screws before this thread and so I looked them up. I have the same opinion as you; maybe they would be OK in a cast iron caliper, but even then I wouldn't. In an alloy caliper - forget it.

Couldn't tell you the brand name as they came already installed in an Audi RS4 I owned. The check valves had failed in both rear caliper bleed bolts and they did not get a good enough seal. So the system had a ton of moisture in it and would constantly weep brake fluid.

Changed them for OEM and no issues.

Have you considered purchasing a Motiv powerbleeder instead of the speed bleeders? It’s a fantastic tool for bleeding fluid.

I think I go with the analog approach and stay with the OEM bleeders

Not like it's done every day and there is a need for efficiency!

Motive is by far the best brake bleeding tool and one person only. Glad that the Speed bleeders were dumped on because they are junk. If you need to use speed bleeders, you probably should not get near your brakes.

I second this. I use Motive every year on my track car (M3) and every other car that I have or had. Takes longer to remove the wheels than to bleed the brakes. I also do a complete flush with this... totally worth it.

yes I never had good success with speed bleeders as well. I used the motive power bleeder on my track Gt3 and it made bleeding brakes super fast and efficient.

Well, sounds like the jury has reached a verdict. No speed bleeders for me.

I can concur with other's experience with these.

These were popular with the Ducati guys a few years ago, I got a set to help make bleeding easier at the track but they ended up making it harder because of the constant leaks.

I also ended up putting the old bleeder valves back in and went with the traditional open/close way of bleeding.

For the car, I use the Motive power bleeder

Motive is the way to go. It's only like $50 for the power bleeder and works very well. The brake fluid for a single change (if you are using the good stuff like SRF, Endless 650, RBF660) is 2-3x that anyway.
