Hi Mr. Phillips, thank you for the link. It`s a pity - they don`t have the right numbers 176256 + 176257. Greetings to all Ferraristi from FM 133 Peter
Johnny- Different design completely. Here are the 18" OEM Speedlines and the 19" OEM BBS modulars, plus the 18" 575M wheels. 18" modular below. 19" mounted below that. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just curious- What's the difference between these Speedlines and Barchetta wheels- Are they not the same wheels?
You should be able to spot that there are 20 fixings on the rim of a 19" 575M BBS Modular (4 between adjacent spokes) but there are 35 fixings on the 18" 550 'Barchetta' Speedlines (7 between adjacent spokes)!
I'm completely aware of the two designs from 575 vs Barchetta- I can spot them a mile away What's the diff between the Speedlines offered here and Barchetta wheels- Are they not the same other than sourcing them through Ferrari?
the speedlines are their own design. you see them on porsches, etc. aftermarket. no different from a set of HREs of Fikse. speedline manufactured the barchetta wheels for ferrari. they are factory.

This model of Speedline rims was installed by factory at the Maserati Ghibli Cup from 1995/6/7 in 8+9x17. 1995 Open Cup race car http://cuoresportivo.no/index.php?PHPSESSID=85d34a4f534655e9b584e842885c7937&action=dlattach;topic=25152.0;attach=10657;image 1996 Cup street version (1 of 60) https://www.flickr.com/photos/daveoflogic/3984423900/ Daniel
Daniel- Respond to his ad above and you are more likely to get a response. Or PM him. Good price on those wheels, which are quite attractive.
OK, sent PM to him. Thanks Taz. Rims would look great on a Maserati from the mid 90's. They have also 108 mm like the Ferrari. My Ghibli has 9+10x18 Compomotive rims, especially ordered and made for my car with my measurements, the Speedline would look great too. And you know, for us, rims are like shoes for our wives. Regards Daniel
Daniel- Affirmative, mine has had three sets of wheels in 6 1/2 years, 3 exhausts, and two sets of brakes. Jan has a few more pairs of shoes than any of those.
I prefer the look of NF2s. All the little allen screw just don't do it for me. Just doing my share to make the market a little less heated for those in search of some. Much like the Speedline vs factory modulars, are there other options similar to the NF2s? In terms of the bolt pattern for the 550, is it a relatively common size, or special to a period of Ferrari cars?
How often do a modular's bolts need to be retorqued? Any idea how many lbs-ft? I haven't done mine, but I'm thinking I probably should.
Allan- At your annual is probably often enough. Should be around 75-80 lb-ft. Some of the pros may recommend higher, but there is no difference between the cast/forged wheels and the modulars, or steel and titanium wheel bolts.
Terry, I was referring to the numerous small bolts that hold the modular sections together, not the main bolts fastening the wheels to the shafts; were you referring to the former or the latter?
Allan- No clue on those little bolts, sorry. Maybe some kind of SAE table for small bolts into aluminum? Not even sure what size they are. Or ask Speedline or BBS.
