Well, we had many people turning up for the dinner yesterday evening, totalling nearly 40. Thumbs up to all those that managed to come along with their ponies. Having the dinner going on just amidst the ponies gave the dinner a real special appeal. It's certain that all those attended had enough to eat and had a great opportunity to meet old & new friends.

Thanks to all of the friends that turned up. Oh, on behalf of all of us a special thanks must go out to the organizer of the dinner, Jimmy 308.

If anybody has pics please post for other like me to see. Thanks.

Hi K. Pom Mondial. What GPS you refer to? I'm quite interested in navigation system. Is the map details good enough for sub urban area?

P' Pom, thanks for letting me test the navigation system. I find that it's an interesting gadget, specially for those of us that don't have a similar system in our cars. To tell you the truth it's specially good for me since I find myself very often lost in one of the many sois around Bangkok. In an emergency, the capability of this system to provide shortcuts becomes really useful.
The only thing fthat I would like to request for is an English language option.

Now, how do I return it to you?.

A short note to request for some information regarding companies that could assist with the setting up of the official Ferrari Club Thailand Website. Any ideas?. Firstly, the website should simply provide a good representation of the FCT with regards to modern looks, maintenance should be simple, and chat capability necessary. Lastly, you probably know that all of the mentioned needs to be at minimal cost since it's a non-profit organization.

    Thanks.

    K.Moong,
I really enjoyed the dinner with all the ponies and very glad to meet a lot of nice people who share the same interests. This is my first F-car and hope that many more will follow. My 328 GTS drives very nicely, thanks to Jin also.

Glad that you enjoyed the evening. As you can see, the FCT tries to get people that are like-minded together to enjoy as often as possible meals or Sprints, well at least from now on. It's good to hear that you are enjoying your little pony that Jin has been carefully taking care of for the last three years, lucky man.

This is the first time that I post in the website.

For GPS system, here is the website of map developer--http://www.esrith.com/

The map is very detailed. Though there are some mistakes, the gadget is very useful. I've just updated the map.

In Camry, the system is in Thai, but it is in English in other systems.

Now I dont have Ferrari, but for sure, I will get one in the future. At that time, I will join the sprints and meetings.

Please just give me a shout when there is a next excursion and will be glad to participate. Since I had it I have been cherishing every scarce precious moment in it. Do you have any number or contact regarding TUBI exhaust as I think of changing and I have someone who will be back from London next month.
    Thanks

Did the car sell at the auction?

If so, who was the buyer?

Would like to be informed of club meetings via email.

    Thanks

Where are you based?. Definately you didn't own your 250SWB here in Thailand because I would have known, the U.S. perhaps?.

Owner did not get the right bid?
I thought the car was seized because of a NPL?

Right now I am still overseas and will move to Thailand later this year. This is why I was asking about the F40 in Bangkok as it would have already cleared customs etc but from what I understand you have a "horsepower tax"? So if I drive a F car from another country into Thailand what happens when I want to keep it in Thailand full time when it is registered in another country? How does your import system work for cars of this nature?

    Thanks for all the help.

Overseas?, you must be in Europe, U.S., Africa or some country around Asia.

Tax & admin?, plenty to pay and do as mentioned to you in my previous response some months ago. Hence, better off getting a local car.

Driving one over one of the borders?, try but you wouldn't get away with it for long before somebody in khaki uniform appears at your door to ask for the keys.

For your information there are some of us going to the Intercontinental Hotel this Saturday for the Classic Car Club event. If you are interested please be there at 4pm so your pony could be positioned next to the others that are going to be grazing in front of the hotel. Maybe I'll to see some of you there.
