Still in heaven

Greetings fellow Ferrari owners. It’s been 3 days since I’ve joined this exclusive brotherhood and I am still on cloud 9. I posted a short story of the financial windfall that allowed me to be here, if you care to read my intro

Now, more about my day today! I wanted to wash and wax my newly acquired 1987 Mondial. I was pretty sure that she has had some paintwork since I’ve noticed several different colors of red. After a lot of research I found that Maguires Cleaner Wax would work on both single stage and clear coat. So off I went to Walmart. I almost drove my pickup, but thought, “What the hey, let’s take the Ferrari”. Top down I’m driving out of my neighborhood when I thought I saw this divorcee walking ahead of me. This one has never once given me the time of day. I creep forward and when I get close enough, her tramp stamp above her cut off shorts comes into focus and I know it is her indeed! As luck would have it, I end up having to slow down for a stop sign as I drive past. She notices me and practically does a triple take. I give a quick wave and move on. Playing it cool.

Fast forward... I have a nice day washing and waxing. I put her up in the garage and then decide to celebrate. I open up a bottle of Yellow Tail, let it breath, and pour a big cup full. Then I grab a lawn chair and unfold it right in the middle of my driveway. As I unfold the lawn chair, I notice that the nylon fibers are red, yellow, and black. Coincidence, I think not.
