Well said FD. The car having been in two accidents is not so much the issue so long as the dealer doesn't represent it as a straight shooter and there's full disclosure. Agreed that the salesmen should be aware of the history, especially a history such as the one 136348 carries. That way they don't completely tarnish the image of a dealer when people find out otherwise.

NOTHING (and NO DEALER) will approach the sum total of knowledge collected here. I bought my 360 from Chad Morgan in Scottsdale and I personally have found him and Ferrari of Scottsdale to be nothing but stand up guys.

Exactly what happened with 136348. Single car accidents. Both times it was towed to FoBH.

Anyone else notice Scottsdale F lowered their price already on 136348 by $5k to $143.7k? Perhaps they're reading Fchat. LOL! They also removed "no accident, no bodywork". The autocheck portion still shows no accidents, but they're wrong.

Ok... Great. So it was driven hard. Does that mean that this car is now "storied" according to "you"

I am so tired of reading about CS's being branded from a track day or being enjoyed for what they are.

I'm hearing some serious sarcasm... No, not storied, what makes you suggest that? Clear difference between a twice wrecked example and a hard driven car. Some cars are driven harder on the streets then on the track...

While the cars listed here are about problems; is too nice a car also a problem for the seller?
LFSC has a yellow Stradale 137694 still for sale. Having travelled only a tick over 2,000 miles is a great car also a problem sale for the seller due to the higher asking price?

I just don't want a yellow one. "Asking too much" is a problem too.

I don't think that the Yellow car is a problem. I think the asking price is Way too high. Cars have all lost value. This seller doesn't see it imho. Lots of sellers still in the dark ages. When they truly want to be a seller they will lower it.

Too bad Jason the yellow one in our area is the prettiest CS I've ever seen.....besides mine ;) Ok that's biased but you know. Everyone has a red one.

They are asking 158K for that perfect yellow car..I don't think that is "Way too high" ......
Ferrari of Newport Beach had a perfect black with stripe which they sold couple weeks ago for close to $170k according to sales maager.

I think the yellow CS's look great. I just don't want one. But I'm not really looking for red either. I like them in many colors.

    I call BS.

I love CS's as much as the next guy and I think they're great. But I looked at a Black Black '08 F430 with 1000 miles in Palm Beach last weekend for $160K. I could never justify $170K for a CS. Sorry.

There are several CS's on the internet that have been listed for sale for years. If someone dropped $170K recently then they are ???

I'm never popular on Stradale threads for the simple reason I don't hold them up in the clouds with God himself. I have one and I love the car. I don't like it near as much as my Scuderia, 9 of 10 times I will grab Scud keys over it. I'd be willing to bet a lot of guys with both do the exact same thing. I also KNOW and will state it over and over again that F430's are better cars. I hope to always have mine and consider it a fantastic addition to my family of 4 wheeled auto's but Jason is RIGHT ON a $160k F430 is a better buy for 99 of 100 buyers.

The only CS's that garner higher values for Collection status only are the Launch cars because the guys collecting Ferrari's find this more important. I don't on my end just because I'm scared to drive a red car. I get nervous twitchy and feel too many people are watching me so I will stick with the Blend into the crowd colors and let the big guys duke it out for the Collections.

I will admit I thought that Yellow CS was priced in the 170's although I still think 158k is too high. Just not Way too high so I will change that view point.

    my 1/2 pence

While the yellow CS @ LFSC is not "storied" (355dreamer... I repeat, NOT storied, u got that?) it was once heavily modded and those mods make a lot of CS purists run the other way even if the car has been restored to OEM specs.

BTW, that black CS at FoNB sold closer to $160k.

LFSC was asking $185k but have transposed their asking price to $158k.
