At the Newport Concours (which is unaccountably in Dana Point) I met an old employee of Straman, who is now a Mercedes salesman, and asked him for a report on Richard and he said the once time maestro of the modified Ferrari (made a lot of Daytona spyder conversions, and a few NART spyder conversions and even a Boxer targa and some 400 convertibles) came back to town recently in his 90-ft. yacht to attend his daughter's college graduation. Then it was back to the high seas. So some people do get to attain their dreams....sigh
