    A friend and I are looking for somewhere to go for a nice cruise with his Viper and my F430 (and our wives). We both live in the far southwest suburbs (Joliet is nearby).

    Does anyone have a suggestion for a cruise route out this way? Looking for a round trip that is about 4 hours or less, with a break for lunch. We went out to Starved Rock last year so hoping for something different.

    It's not southwest and may be a bit further than you'd like but Galena has some of the most beautiful roads I've seen.

    Galena would be most excellent, but as you said it does not fit in our time budget this time. Thanks for the suggestion though.
