Definitely disappointed that there's no F40 or 250 GTO or 360CS...the list goes on. Also, have you seen the CLK63 AMG Black Series? It's hideous. They should have just kept the same design from the CLK DTM AMG from the original game IMO.

The TDU2 server went down when I was doing a $40k event.. so you get put back to the start menu, ****ING ****S!! It hasn't spawned again

 

Is there a way to sell a car outright instead of having to trade it in on something ?

 

Nope. Hopefully coming with a patch soon though.

 

Nope. The only time you can sell them is when you are trading/low on money or your garages are full so you have the option of selling one to make room.

You also can't sell any of the cars you got by the pinkslip races nor put stickers on to replace the lame ones on it.






Also I'm having troubles getting my A3-A2 licence keep messing up the Viper on the track

I'm up to doing the cup but not that race yet at least I know I should expect 1hr~ to do that race...

 

I completed that race over 8 minutes ahead of time. It's a cinch; it's just the endurance part that's kinda tough. Oh, and the "desirable" car they give you pretty much sucks. I left it at the used car garage and haven't touched it.

 

am i the only person in this thread to say this game is just a big dissapointment

the handling is confusing, weird and doesnt make sense, the graphic looks dated (pc version with everything max out) the whole game just feel cheesy and half done

its not all bad..some very good things like noise of the cars which is very good but still shame really, can be a very good game but they broke it

You're not the only one . Maybe if they had released this before GT5 , I wouldn't have been so disappointed . The graphics could be a lot better . Mafia 2 has an open world environment and the graphics are much better in that , even if the cars are "fake" . I know its not a racing game, but still. Whats up with all the metrosexual men characters and the bad acting? Some of the cars handle like total crap too .

All the games developers these days seem to just release anything they want without testing them . They figure they can release it , get some quick cash, then just send a patch out to fix it in a couple of weeks after people start complaining.

 

I enjoy the game, but it was a bit of a disappointment the first day I played it as well. The graphics are a letdown.

 

Idk I guess it wasnt a let down to me. I was expecting not the greatest graphics and car sounds. I also was assuming the handling wouldn't be all that great. I dont see how some people would expect it to be great in those aspects as the first one was terrible.

I bought this game for the environment and what the game is about, its a game that is different than everything else and to me thats what makes it cool.

 

The handling is weird I have to agree. Especially on the limit, sometimes it decides to spin off the ****ing road for no ****ing reason!! haha, but it still heaps better then the 1st game and I love just driving around. I'm 99% on Ibiza I can't find the last 1%



Mafia 2 only has 45 cars in the game 1/4 the amount of TDU2 and the world size is only 6 square kilometers, Ibiza is 571.04 square kilometers + Hawaii. Plus it's not an open world like GTA4. As I said before the smaller the world the more detail you can put in to that world. Plus its a cross platform game, they are designing the game for Xbox/ps3 not PC.


Yes it seems there is a bigger trend these days to push out broken games but at the same time this is an issue with the publishers pushing this crap out, don't blame the developers they are doing the best they can with whatever resources they have.
