Are there any difference in fitting a U.S. spec cat / test pipes to a Euro spec. on a 5.2? Looks like Superformance has a good price on a test pipe and with a free shipping worldwide offer makes the conversion cost effective solution over the Fabspeed / Capristo / Tubi offerings. Just need to make sure fitment won't be an issue once in hand.

    hi there..

there is no difference in actual fitment.
the only difference between a cat/test pipe designated for a 2.7, is that it has no post o2 sensor bungs.
in this case a set manufactured for a 2.7 car.. will bolton a 5.2, but you'd have to drill holes.. so in this case it would not work. unless you can do the drilling

whereas a set build for a 5.2, has both pre and post o2 bungs. so these would work on a 2.7 by capping off the post o2 bung with a bolt that screws in.

as for us/euro spec, there is no difference to bolt them up..

Does anyone know a test pipe that looks like a cat in shape but has a straight pipe running through it? I have a set of these on one of my cars and would like to find a set for my other car. Preference to have something that looks like a cat here in CA

The ones I have are clearly aftermarket but have a pipe welded in so there's no chamber inside. That's what I'm looking for.
