Haha, i love Miami Vice. Heres a Lotus vs the (Fake)TR! http://harley.pcl.ox.ac.uk/~mark/miami/chang/runaway.rm
Allan, Like me you sound like a certifiable "Miami Vice" nut! Man I used to live for that show. Remember when USA network used to run the re-runs at 7 and 11 pm. Watched every episode at least a 50 times. I have the last two hour special on video where they show all the highlight scenes at the end and a lot footage of the Daytona (kit car) and the TR. Remember when Crockett had to drive that 60's black Ford Pickup in the one episode after the Daytona blew up and they got him the TR? Man I miss that show. It's what prompted me to get a TR one day. Still think the TR is the ultimate bad-ass Ferrari. Regards, Jon P. Kofod 1995 F355 Challenge #23 www.flatoutracing.net
"Still think the TR is the ultimate bad-ass Ferrari." Agree 100%!! When are they going to put together a DVD set for Miami Vice?? There has to be enough people who would buy it to warrant doing it.
I grew up in Spain, so I watched Miami Vice religously...IN SPANISH! And the show still kicked butt! HA! Come to think of it I've never seen it in English. What a shock when I heard Don Johnson's real voice. HAHAHAHA! I'd spring a few bucks to get a DVD set of all the episodes, easy. Cheers
BTW: Watch Miami Vice every weeekday on Spike TV at 10am Lived in Miami during the 80's and saw quite a few show filmings. Met the guys and all too. Enjoy the Drive, Steven R. Rochlin PS: Hmm... maybe THAT explains my Testarossa jones
interesting to see Ocean Drive in South Beach being deserted. No bars, no cafes and no models strolling down the street. Gosh it has changed so very much.
