Hi gents, just received the technical manual for my Testarossa. 142 Pages.....wow!!!! Mhmm, I have never read such a voluminous book with so less black/white pics;-) They (Ferrari) give me a hard time to go through. But the very, very best thing is the tank-volumen: 133 Liters!!!!!!!!!! Wow, I`m rapturous!!!! That means I can drive over 1.200 km with 1 fuell???? Hi Wolfgang, Congrats on your new motor! The BB has a 120 litre tank, and this gets me around 250 miles (400K?) if I'm lucky. I'm sure the TR is a touch more fuel efficient, just don't expect to get to Modena without filling up...

Yes, jiemmytreviJUNIOR its a 512 BB The predecessor of the Testarossa. To be 100% correct, between the 512 BB and the testa comes first the 512 BBi. Wolfarossa
It's a 1973 365GT/4BB, in marrone (chestnut / metallic brown). You can tell it from a 512 by the lack of front spoiler - mine's smooth and fluted like a boat, the lack of NACA duct in front of the rear wheels, the thinner wheels front and back of identical sizes. The wheelarches are less flared and the car is not as wide all round. It's also lighter, and faster I think. I love it; thanks for your interest.
Castex & Trevi, o.k., that shows how less I know about older/vintage Ferraris;-((( Thanks for the input gents. I have to learn. Just back from a 200 km trip over the highway with my new Testarossa. I drove the car to my garage master for inspection. Gents, its amazing!!!! What a power, what a sound, what a damn f**** beast!!!!! First time I drove the car to the top-speed...no I realy can`t describe this feeling. I have got tears in my eyes and was howling a bit. A totaly emontional moment to me. I pushed the testa in the 4th gear to max. and up in the 5th gear.....unbelievable!!!!!!!! Seems like neverending power and the sound drive me crazy. I`m still deep impressed. wolfgang, when i have my 365, then we will show up together at nino's place.....wow! 2 12 cyls.....geil ;-) and don't forget, the 365 is 30 years old, but has 380 hp!!!! and is supposed to make 302 km/h!!! so, hurry up ;-)

My baby is stripped;-( Just back from my garage with good news. Engine & gearbox are out for revision, isnpection. End of next week everthing will be finished and ready for take off!!! New timingbells and gear-box revision...and a few other usual inspection work. Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
