Is doubling the sales realistic without increasing the number of cars produced? I doubt that fashion will have a big impact. Sent from my BBF100-6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
No, there will be a Roma spider with a soft top. Sent from my BBF100-6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
So, Icona 3 already released (Daytona SP3), so Icona 4 is next... So, the SF90, first revealed in May 2019 is going to continue into 2026? Same for the Roma, first revealed Nov 2019, is going to continue into 2026? That seems like a very long time for a model to exist in the mix. I am unclear what MCA indicates, is that a 'mid model cycle refresh' designation? If so, why would the 296 have both VS editions and a refresh, is it to also continue as a model line for 6+ years as is proposed for the SF90 and Roma? In the recent new world of Ferrari with abbreviated model cycles, they are going to reverse that and go longer? Seems a curious revision of their strategy...
There's been debate on what the 15 models from the previous 5 year cycle was: Here it is from the horse's mouth Image Unavailable, Please Login
The official 15 is a very selective list: including the Purosangue which is not properly launched (or named ?) or have its own section at ferrari.com and yet excluding the 296GT3 which does
Thank you @maha ** To others: Could somebody explain why Roma/Roma Spyder exists next to the Portofino? Not being sarcastic. Seems like the same exact segment. They should be merged before the next cycle right? I would argue they should have Roma + Sedan ala Pinin (I know, hang me) - My argument is simply if the holy cow has been slaughtered on the temple of SUV stock market profits, surely a sporty sedan shouldn't be out of the question? The sin of 4 seats has been violated as far back as 1959. 4 doors back in the 70s and again in the 90s. After all, hate what you will about SUVs. Can we all at least agree sports sedans are more 'pure' than SUVs (whatever pure means?) Or are M3 drivers milquetoast and M4 drivers legit? Or say, like the 4-door AMG GT 63S, you know that sedan poseur car that hit the Nurburgring in 7:23. Image Unavailable, Please Login Before anybody responds, puking, saying I'm a faux Ferrarista: Make sure you own a 250 GTO, or your last name is Sainz or Leclerc. What can I say? I hate the slippery slope one needs to traverse when waging a 'purity' contest.
Ferrari boosts full-year guidance after a record second quarter PUBLISHED TUE, AUG 2 20228:26 AM EDT Ferrari raised its guidance for 2022 after reporting record results for the second quarter amid unprecedented demand for its high-priced sports and grand touring cars. Ferrari shipped 3,455 vehicles in the quarter, up 29% from a year ago, on strong demand for its V8-powered Portofino M convertible and F8 mid-engine sports car. The company also confirmed that it’s begun production of its new V6-powered hybrid 296 GTB sports car. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/02/ferrari-race-q2-2022-earnings-and-guidance.html 3,455 in one quarter averages out to nearly 14,000 cars per year. That would double what former Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo placed as maximum production in order to keep the brands exclusiveness. He also did a pretty good job running their Formula 1 racing program. I miss him.
As part of the earnings call Benedetto confirmed the 15 new models "will also include the highly awaited new supercar, a master piece of innovation, design and performance"
