Saw a M3 CSL yesterday with the plate V QUICK. Also while in Taupo the day after the GP I saw the new zealand team's RS4 avant with the plate NZ A1GP.
numerous vic heritage plates around sorrento/portsea on the weekend i never tire of seeing them, even the 6-number ones look class on the right car
Curious, has there ever been any 'counterfeit' heritage plates bought/sold that have been indentified as fakes? Have you ever heard of anyone ever doing that? Because these are worth some big bucks, surely someone has tried to recreate one to sell off to make some cash. This may be a new business venture for young pappy.
how is that possible? plates are registered to an owner you cant just make a new plate and sell it. firstly you need to prove you are the registered owner to HAVE a new set made and secondly...the value of a heritage plate lies in the fact you have the RIGHT to display it youre not paying for the lump of vitreous enamel
(insert sarcastic tone) The best plate ever! Conti GT in Sydney with the plate CGT-02C Just goes to show that money does not buy class.....
yeah, i agree plenty of ppl hang it on paris....but do you think it bothers her when shes on the flybridge of a 100' motoryacht or in her 'daily driver' Bentley?
Just going back on topic. Was thinking of doing the following: a) Debadge the 550i and replace it with a chrome sign that says 'DL'; or b) Debadge the 550i and put on custom plates "E60 DL" That way when I come up at the lights with some ricer, they won't be able to know which 5-series they're up against, unless they know their roman numerals Lame, I know...but it's been a slow day...
