Put some casters on the front mounts, use a couple of 2x4 pieces to keep the suspension arms from collapsing and you can roll it around quite easily. Disconnecting all the wires and hoses can be difficult if they've frozen in place.
I plan to be at the Amelia Island Concours showing the Bora. If you plan to attend Amelia (March 12) come by and say hello. A gold with orange interior Bora should not be difficult to find Ivan
+1 its was way ahead of its time like the urraco.... the mondials, 348s and 355 later adopted this practice

Yes, great color choice! Rame metallizzato is actually the original color of my now black Mistral. I have to say that it looks fantastic on the Bora....not so much on the Mistral. I think straight lines and hard angles suit the color better than curves. Looks great on the Ghibli too.
Just had to post after seeing some of the previous photos. Slowing getting to the painting stage after almost 3 years.I just love this shot of the bare rear end. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello all--- Need the following items from Maserati Bora Spare Parts Manual, page 34: 2 pieces of Maserati Bora Part #: PRN 75599 and 2 pieces of Maserati Bora Part #: PRN 75598 Usual suspects unable to help. Any leads much appreciated. TIA Regards.
Maserati Bora - Internal Upholstery: Page 034 | Order Online Eurospares Why not fabricate a replacement? It undoubtedly would be far superior to the original. Perhaps some black anodized aluminum channel with a black plastic piece of U channel? Get creative! I'd also recommend improving the attachment method for the behind the seat inspection hatch on the RH side of the car. It's just long wood screws going into thin fiberglass. Several Bora owners have enlarged that one and added another behind the driver's seat as well. That's a really worthwhile though non-original mod. Not that noticeable IMHO. One of the MIE magazines has the details.
Did just that many years ago! Unfortunately it came apart / broke recently! Wanted to see if anybody had located a set or two somewhere. Thanks. PS Eurospares no help on this one...
Well that entire bulkhead isn't the best construction but since you're redoing it??? you can make it better WO showing. The slide door is a joke. These cars deserve much better than that crappy construction but going too far afield is something I understand one might not want to do. There are the two independant suppliers in Modena who might have some of it. Hey, how about a hydraulically operated door instead? I thought about hydraulic jack stands at all 4 corners once, for about 1 minute!
Final color coat just sprayed. Ready for rubdown and final two coats of lacquer... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Boralogist. If you do locate the parts you require or reproduce them i would also be interested in a set of each.
Not sure any of you Bora owners watched 'Chasing Classic Cars' last night. It was a new episode and the last few minutes were about a red Bora Wayne Carini obtained. He appeared to like the car! Mike
