Hey Everyone, I'm sure a lot of people know about my story regarding my 02 m3. Since it's finally over I figured I'd complete the story for those that remember. BMW finally bought the car back. I picked up a new 06 today. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
what happened to your old car? BTW, i love that blue on the m3. Looks great. Lets go driving sometime, m3 vs s4
Thanks everyone, I do appreciate it. The camera cant capture the true colour, it changes so many different shades of blue depending on lighting. Shivam, it's a long story that ain't worth repeating. In short the car had a lot of structural problems, I had to get a lawyer to finally get things done. m3 vs s4, give me 1200 miles to break it in and I'm there. anyone know any dealerships I should avoid for service, haha
Nice car, but becareful about them S4s, especially the Bi-Turbo ones. Many of them are wolves in sheep's clothing as they may look stock, but the reality is that they are far from being stock as they are essentially aftermarket RS4s.
Very true. The stage 3 2000-2002 S4s can put out about 530hp. Mine with a couple mods does about 380, until I put in the supercharger in the fall I love my S4. Plus I can drive it in all weather conditions. Although my heart will always belong to my E36 m3. RIP.
Glad to see some respect being givin to the beloved S4...I own a 2000 6spd. and I love it to death, although im selling it at the moment, its only to get another one with lower miles...Glad to see fellow S4 owners on here
There are plenty of stage 3s out there as we speak and even more stage 2s. I have a stage 2 myself and it is already pretty impressive as we speak. The output of hp is ~330 and torque is ~ 380 or so. I am trying to find some time to dyno it and see for myself. On the E46 forum, the members there are well aware of these S4s and the advises have been, if you see an aftermarket exhaust, better be sure before any sort of a wager is made for a straight line drag race. Both are great cars, 2 completely different animals as one is great for the tracks already right out of the box, the other, the performance potential is almost limitless and can still be used year-round.
the car is in fact interlagos blue metallic. as for the S4's, I've read some amazing things about them. They definately have my respect. Anything would be done in good fun, there are so many ridiculously fast cars out there that it's pretty much impossible to be on top. for me the m3 is the ultimate package, it's fast, looks good, handles well, has some good technology in it, and it's not too too expensive. next stop murcielago Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
holy **** sharif... you really like them flower pots eh? I count almost 30 of them! Better make sure one dsnt fall down and hit the car LMAO!
Yeah def in good fun. I hate when people take the whole m3, s4, c55 thing too seriously. We should def go for a "spirited" ride somewhere. Theres a couple of good drives in southern NJ.
Why would you want to do that? The M3 would smoke the S4. I had a 02 M3, 6 speed with a AC Schnitzer Short shirt kit and a k/n air intake and it wouldnt even be a close contest to my S4. S4 is slow, plain and simple. I dont understand how people contest this car is fast. I stock EVO I got rid of to get the S4 was so much faster, night and day. Image Unavailable, Please Login
