Do you think that people would turn their noses up at that if you were to sell the car?

I just want to say how much I love this thread, and all the photos of tiny details that you don't think to look at when you're too busy going "holy s**t, an F50!" :D As others have said, the time you take to talk about and post pics of all the work done is really appreciated!

Also - those must be the most expensive sponges on the planet  I've got a couple in the sink still in their wrappers if you'd like to start some kind of FChat sponge donation system - they come with antibacterial stuff in them according to the packet, so they must be just as "safe" as the dealer ones I guess :)

Thanks Mikey. Not many people get to see an F50 at all, let alone all the little details that make the car something special. I think it's interesting to have a record of the ownership experience.

I actually havn't taken photos of the F50 when its all together, Taken some photos at JA's a while back when it was in peices and then my camera got stolen before i had a chance upload the photos!

If there is a chance, would be great to take some proper photos of the whole car.

Comes with the territory mate. :):)

Aint cheap maintain these cars. Especially the Ferrari supercars. :):)

    Off topic........

I read in another thread that the electric nose lift motor in the Enzo Ferrari are burning out. Turns out to be a faulty switch causing this.
The replacement "Ferrari" electric motor for the Enzo is US$16K from the dealer!!:eek:
People are getting their original motor rewound and saving US$15K!!

As 360C mentioned, he could probably go aftermarket fuel cells for the F50 for a 1/3rd of the price. ;);)
Same would apply with the electric motor I reckon.

Ok, they're not amazing photographs like you'd see in National Geographic... there's not one single drooping African boobie!!!

But of them all, I think this is the one you'll be coming back to look at over and over - I don't know what it is about the pic, the car's not at-rest, it's not driving, it's just a lovely shot.

    *drowns in own drool*

Nice pics Ash, that last one definitely is the one I love the most. Now my new wallpaper, hope you don't mind

Beautiful rebuild, I don't know a lot, but it looks as though ferrarifixer has done a brilliant job at helping it come together. Also, some decent pics of the technical aspects.

    Thanks

    Sean :D
