The front treatment especially around the prancing horse badge reminds me of the 'shark-nose' treatment of the 250 SWB done by Bertone. It was 3269 GT and far away from a Pininfarina design back then.

I hope this rendering distorts the real car, it looks like a modified Corvette.

multiple chatters here said (in a credible way) that there will be 2 versions available of the "F70"

what if the 1100kg are true? but not for the KERS version ;-)

so you could have your fully lightweight version without KERS, or you can have your 'edge of technology' version with an even higher price. ferrari could also market & sell the KERS option for a very very huge premium (500k more) - to bring even more F1 technology to the car & to separate both versions, compared to a much cheaper & simpler KERS which I could imagine for the mclaren P1.

the P1 package makes more sense with KERS, the "F70" high displacement and NA V12 would work with and without KERS.

    I think that's it :)

Its been said it will not be a KERS non KERS version... Also not an open top so it's pretty safe to say its a Road version and an FXX/XX version as that was a major cash cow for Ferrari

I think Ferrari want a total monster from 0-200-0 and the key points along the way.. Top speed is a dead issue currently for a road car

Remember the more power the more downforce you can add without lose in performance and the V12 with KERS gives you that

Man I can't wait for this car, I think it is going to be just amazing, better than anything we have seen. The Enzo was so stunning, that the design looks even better today than it did when it was introduced.

Now that I know what direction the front will take.. she'll be a beaut. Need another day or two to come up with a rendering though.

I would guess the front grill has the F12's closing air ducts somewhere in that black area.

I could see that as well.

By examining the spy shots it's pretty clear that it will not have an aero bridge at the front fenders. It will feature some massive side intakes though.

This is very good indicator for how quick it will be around a track.

The aero-bridge will appear at the base of the a-pillar - further back then we see on the F12 - unless they've changed things dramatically from what I saw earlier.

I know there will be an FXX programme but after the road car launch. So either KERS/non KERS variants or road/stripped out options?

Have you heard anything about an aero-bridge at the A-pillars?

I was told both had KERS if the 2nd is not an FXX version than maybe the 2nd has the twin turbo V8 as well as being 1100kg which would add up with the 458 ish and Enzo ish mules models... but what I was told was 1 was road 1 was track ie FXX style

Atrack and a road version makes sense but I know, from the Horses mouth, that an FXX prog will follow. Believe there will be an aero bridge incorporated.

So what your saying is 2 versions will be launched together with a track version later ?

You may well be right with that image. It is supposition there will be two versions initially but makes sense. All I know for sure is that an FXX programme will certainly follow. Very unlikely, IMHO, there would be a V8 version.

It makes no sense to have two versions with two different engines. When was the last time that a Ferrari offered two different engines in the same model anyway? A road and a track version is a more likely scenario, even though I still remain sceptical regarding the existence of two distinct versions.
