I think the Veyron will remain a very interesting automobile... the quality of construction is out of this world and well above anything Ferrari has ever achieved...it is not my thing; the special editions make me sick and I dont like the notion of a 2 ton sportscar, but I can't blame people who want to buy it... I dont think Bugatti will have trouble shifting the rest...

The F70 will come in around 1mm EUR including taxes. Enzos are not really fetching much above 800k EUR now and the market is soft. If Ferrari come much above 1mm I doubt they d be able to shift the planned 500 cars in 18 months. Bugatti is selling at higher prices, but the have sold as many cars in 6 years, not 18 months and the market was stronger when they started...Maclaren and Porsche are in trouble in my opinion. There is no way Porsche will shift 918 Spyders at the price they are asking and the P1 can never sell 500 for 1mm EUR incl tax... Personally I d rather buy a Huayra than a 918 or a P1 and Horacio's order book is not 500-strong either

That's the internal code for the car. Similarly the California's internal code was 149.

If Aston Martin can charge £1.2 million for a 750 HP front engined car, surely Ferrari can charge much more for a 900+ HP hyperexotic with KERS and the lot! Remember what Luca said. The new car will surprise with its looks, name and price... And he did not mean the latter in a good way!

They only built 77 of those though, and I believe there is only 1 or 2 in the US

It still is a much inferior car though. Not to mention that the name Ferrari is much more "expensive" in the marketplace.

+1 and if the Aston was so fantastic why has Aston not provided cars for the press to drive, instead 3 odd years after the car was first seen the press is driving customer cars....

The looks are also very subjective, to me they look a bit cartoon like.

I also found that quite odd, basically a bored out 6 liter motor, would have been better to say that but to be honest I cant seen a F12 being any slower than this "hyper" Aston and in the UK one could have 5 F12's and have change for the price of one of these Astons.

Frankly I doubt that it can even touch the F12, let alone the 150+ HP more powerful F150.

Regarding price of the F70, I guess the poster on this page who has his name down for one, awaiting confirmation, is possibly closest.

George, has Ferrari talked to you about the available options? There are going to be F150s that come in with much larger window stickers than 1MM euros.

Yeah, but it only starts working at 88mph, I think that's kind of a rip off. :)

This could be for a F12 spider variant like we saw for the 599 which was cloth.
