Bend the front wing UP a little more.....see if that helps any...maybe an inch and a half off the concrete, at the front.....got a ruler? Or about three fingers wide.

The wing will wear away because of the rubbing at speed eventually...sometimes happens, but then there's a hole! LOL!

 

what kind of OIL does it need?

 

Good. Have her read mty starting instructions and she can hang on that back bar until your helments on and you're ready to go......

Gas it up and start it padner!!!!!!

 

Hi Andrea, anything you have is OK......I use 20-50W but that's racing lube....5-30W or 10-40W like your car is fine.

Make sure the kill switch is ON before you wear yourself out pulling the rope!

Just to the bottom of the threads is fine on the oil....see the yellow cap with two bumps on it?????you can twist it open with a screwdriver across the bumps if you have to.......

Royal Purple 20-50W is available at finer auto Parts stores....otherwise use what ya got.......

 

Those black rubber tire scuffs from the competition don't slow ya down....

I usually have pretty swirls down the side after a few "contested" corners......LOL!

Not started yet? Push the choke lever ALL the way forward then, but it won't run wel like that so be ready to move it back to two thirds when it starts....

Take the two bolts at the bottom of the vertical bracing out if you have to remove the wing...the whole frame comes off then......

See those two bolts with nylock nuts on them.....

Wonder why it won't start......

I thought the kid had a cell phone? Wouldn't it have been easier to talk him and mom thru it? Reading this thread has been pretty excruciating, yet compelling!

 

The kid does have a cell phone.

I think Alan and Zupra posts online for our entertainment, though at times I think it would be much more productive on the phone.

 

It's so funny to see the kid so excited that he misspells every other word in a sentence.
