Is it four wheel drive? It has plenty of ground clearance...

    Not a Sterling; it's a Fiberfab Jamaican.

What ever fiberglass kit car it was, there was one on the Denver Craigslist for really really cheap. Seems the engine was shot and the owner did not want to fix it. Was something like $1500 as-is. I think the cockpit raised upwards sorta like a fighter jet thing.

They all started from the same point, a beetle chassis. I think the Fiberfab Kamaican was the first, loosely (very loosely indeed) based on the GT40. From there knock-offs were produced in many countries under different names. The Nova was quite succesful, there was the FT Bonito, the list goes on. Suits a poser.

The Clockwork car was designed much earlier, no relationship between the two.

My mistake, another poster says Nova Sterling or something like that. So not sure... I remember asking "What is this car?" to something I saw online. It looked the same as that.

I could easily be wrong, but I thought the Jamaican was based on a TR-3/TR-4. IIrc, it didn't look at all GT-40ish , it was its own design, a svelte front engined coupe.

Adams probe 15 and 16 is the original car and the 15 was the car used in Clockwork orange, later came copies as the Concept Centaur and the Nova GT and Fiberfab Bonito..
