I've got an interesting story concerning the Sultan.

Today at school in my communications class (public speaking) we had to give a speech about 3 things that represent us. One of the things I chose to use was my love for cars. So I told about my love for Ferraris and everything fast and expensive and I showed a few pictures I've taken over the summer. After class, another guy in the class approaches me with his laptop and says, "check this out, you'll love it." So I look down and he's got a bunch of pictures from the Sultan's garages! He said he's friends with the Sultan's son and has been in the warehouses and one day he started up his S7 for them. Damn was I jealous!

Anyways, its really cool to see how many people are affected by this collection!

I just saw Ken in the background at Barret Jackson. I wonder what he will be bringing back with him.

He was bidding on a Mustang, but dropped out 20K short of where it landed for sale. Not sure if he was bidding on anything before that. Just caught it at the right time to see the cameras on him.

Thanks Jerry :) It is pretty sharp... but the car is just pure bad-ass
I got a chance to watch the TiVo'd segment with James (vdub) last weekend, and it was quite clear that the other bidder wasn't about to back out, no matter what the next bid was.

suffering a minor HDD failure, and recovering about 200 hours of work at the moment... but hopefully I have the files back tonight, and can get something else online asap.

some young guy, 23-25... he was wise to drop out on the mustang. He actually had bid on 5 cars in a row that night... but was only bidding silly money on that mustang while on camera ;)

5 cars... I can't remember them all, but I think a 396 Camaro, 429 Mustang, 65 Mustang Fastback, and a Cobra R one of 400... I think... when he starts talking about new cars he's picked up :D watch out, get a pen and pad of paper haha!

Love the bentley.... well, love all of them :)

I thought it sounded odd when he said "429" and "cobra jet" it makes more sense being a 428 super cobra jet :) I had forgotten the ZR1... and the second Callaway C12...
