    Ready for some family fun with your Ferrari Club friends?

    Our next event is a family picnic on Saturday, May 27th at Duke Gardens in Durham, NC. If you have never been to the Sarah P. Duke Gardens before, you're in for an unbelievable treat. With four miles of paths and walkways, Duke Gardens is a living museum of garden design, horticulture and plant collections.

    Bring your Ferrari, or bring your Ford... but certainly bring your own picnic lunch, a big blanket, maybe a Frisbee, and plan to spend a few hours with friends. We will be stationed in the Terrace Gardens, across from the South Lawn: http://www.hr.duke.edu/dukegardens/interactive_map.htm (shown in the upper left corner of this picture) Kids and pets are welcome to come too! (The pets should remain on leashes, the kids can roam free...)

    Cool! We're really trying to do events all over the state -- Triangle, Triad, Charlotte, Mountains, etc.

    Wait until this fall... I'm planning to book the wine cellar at Angus Barn for a night of food, wine, smoke, etc.

    I will definitely be taking an exam that day and then driving up to DC, so I'll be missing this one.

    Besides... thats way to close to my old high school for comfort... haha.

    Just a few days away! I'll be there with Luca, which means probably not in the Ferrari. After all, mushed up Cheerios would be pretty annoying in my car.

    The weather isn't looking too great for Saturday right now, but hopefully it clears up. If the system moves through quicker than expected, it looks like it is clear and warm behind it. If the weather is decent, I'll be there.

    Confirmation... I'm not bringing the Ferrari. I was barfed on twice today, and the little monster decided that whatever foul stuff came from his butt would be fun to play with on his hands. If he keeps up this fine act, we'll go further down the foodchain and bring the green Saturn.

    Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Remember, you're looking for the Terrace Gardens section. I'll probably have a big Cavallino flag, for easy visual i.d.

    The system sped up, good deal. 63% humidity, so not great, but not bad either.
