Uh...I think you've already set the definitive standard for a low level idiotic manner.

 

Spook, I went idiotic because I was attacked first just because I posted something that was meant to be funny about the F1, go down a little and see why. It doesn't take much to piss someone off by saying that you wish him bad when that has nothing to do with the subject. I just decided not to lower myself any lower by responding to idiotics remarks because I am more than that and yes I can set many standards in many things not just at making bad remarks, when I did them I was also joking around, but I see that many in here are to uptight so I decided to quit it. I didn't wish anything negative for anyone in the posts, really whats is more idiotic what I posted in response or wishing me wrong about the huricane? Maybe even giving $15 to Ferrari Chat would be a waste of money if I am to gain so little and spending money on Ryalex 430 stuff he is gonna have out is out of the question. Judge me bash me if you will, we are not face to face. So why you still want to mess around? Because it is so easy over the internet, thats right.

 

this is one heck of a guarantee!!!! so leno knows more about every single car in his collection and elsewhere than I do....and this is because he was a motorcylce mechanic in his youth and now is rich and famous and is on tv....there are many members of this web site who have been into and around cars their whole lives who know a great deal about many sports and exotic cars...i dont beleive youcan guarantee leno knows more about everysingle car than the members here

He shows his cars all over the place but he is not arrogant, he is just showing what he is got and he even talks about it, but again is ok because is Leno. I just posted some of the things that I have to FasterIsBetter and it was an answer back to his stupid remark about the huricane and myself, I just told him in other words that his bad wish upon me was harmless because I am more than secure and not a trailer trash redneck, I am from europe not from florida, it was not in an arrogant act, if some of you decided to take it that way well then thats your problem not mine. FasterIsBetter did not just like me mentioned your name or anyone else for that matter, so why don't you stay out of what isn't of your concern.

By the way show all this posts to your "friend" Jay Leno, most likely he will find all of it very funny. I am getting tired of telling you that I was not attacking Leno, how many times doesn't the people of Ferrari Chat trash other cars that aren't Ferraris just like Leno doesn't have much good to say about the mark.
I am not a redneck from florida and I have many reasons why not to post my name and other personal stuff, another thing is that I didn't know of the new services of Ferrari Chat until I saw something posted about me not paying the $15, I was able to come in and use the site like always so I didn't know. By the way you and some other are acting I might as well not pay anything and don't come to the site again, maybe this is one of the reasons the real Leno doesn't get involved with the Ferrari way of life. But it is not fair to me that because of you I don't come in and share with others. I have chosen not to play your little game and call you names because like I said we are not face to face and words can't harm me, so go away and get a life.

 

After you finish insulting more members in this thread, why don't you go back to the thread where you insulted me the other day, saying"you dont buy my bull", when you don't know me at all. I responded to your insults, and haven't had the opportunity of seeing your response.

On this subject matter, Jay is an incredible car guy, down to earth and knowledgeable of many types of vehicles. He is a credit to all of us as "car guys".

As a recent lurker who has enjoyed this board immensely because it has helped with a prospective F-Car purchase, I wholehartedly agree!

I like Jay Leno also, but who really gives a rat's butt what cars he likes -- his opinion is just that, an opinion.

Now having said that, will the moderator of this board please kick Testa-Nuts off? He's really ruining the experience! Who cares how many houses he purports to have?

I agree with those who say if Leno doesn't like F cars thats fine. It doesn't diminish my interest in the brand. I have met him at harley fuctions and he puts on a good public persona. I believe him to be a car guy and a motorhead. He loves his cars and bikes and works on them. Didn't he pay 600k for his ford at a charity ? Even if he pay retail he is ok by me.

 

I have been feeling guilty for not subscribing to the site. The coment about coughing up 15 bucks got to me. I don't post often and have yet to get flamed. Maybe I'll do better in the future.

 

Why even post really? I mean really, it's just your opinion, no one should give a rats butt what you think? Same goes for anyone else, why fill out the part of the profile asking about future cars or cars you want? It's just your personal preference, whotf cares about that either? Why ask for anyone's opinions on things, cause the general consensus of this thread seems to be opinons dont matter because they are just opinions? Or is it just leno's opinion that's irrelevant?

I hope my point is received over the strong level of sarcasm. I'm not trying to say Leno's opinion is the end all of anything nor am I trying to say his opinion should play a strong part in anyone's purchasing decision. And while I don't know Leno at all, I like to believe he doesnt go around saying "I don't like Ferraris, etc" unprovoked. Isn't he usually asked about it or something that could possibly relate to something that would make him say that?And I know this board is bias and all being FChat, but really, sometimes, a few go a bit too far. Would his opinion be so irrelevant or unliked if he swore by the Enzo and refused to have a lambo?

I don't have the money to buy exotics at the moment and I might just never have it. But I personally like to hear about what those who can buy like to buy and why. That's why I hang on this board. You guys seem cool, a bunch of you guys can and do buy exotics, and I like to see pics and possibly understand why you did buy what you did other than because "you could" in case I ever can.

All right I'll quit this post now. But yea, opinions are opinions, but at the very least they are entertaining and possibly a way to learn a thing or two about the topic at hand or the person commenting. That in itself to me makes opinions more than worthless. But hey , that's just my opinion

 

You have nothing better to say and because now I have a few people trying to get on my nerves you just decided to add a little more spice to this FasterIsBetter situation. If in any way by me saying to you that "I don't buy your bull" is an insult to then imagine the one you were trying to pull by telling me that your Lamborghini Diablo has 200,000 miles without ever changing the clutch and trouble free, I am friends of Ultimate Motorworks in Longwood and I see the amount of Diablos that are there for service and clutch changes and none of them have anything close to 40,000 miles of use. It would be really incredible your case with your Diablo and a very good one for you, but why don't you share with the rest of us the secret of how to stretch the life of a clutch in a supercar to such high mileage, that would be more interesting than posting something negative about me. I just said that I can't believe you and that wasn't an insult.

Leno may be a nice guy, a great car guy, blah, blah, blah. For the purposes of FerrariChat, that's nice.

As an entertainer, he leaves me icy, shivering cold. Not funny. Hugely repetitive. And cruel. So I don't watch his show.

 

Jeff, I think you're describing Letterman, not Leno!

I saw a Letterman taping last year, he was in a bad mood and unprepared, and his crew made some tech errors, and he was chewing them out in front of the audience. Since then, I switched to Jay.

 

Letterman is horrible, and Paul Schaffer is worse. Man Paul gives Canadians a bad name.

Went to over 15 Leno tapings, Leno all the way. He is more hip, funnier, and has the pulse of America's humor, unlike Letterman who is still stuck in the 50s.

 

I gave up on Leno a LONG time ago, so maybe I'm out of touch. The OJ murder case never should have been used as fodder for laughs, it was a gruesome, cold-blooded murder. That's murder. Of real persons. It wasn't a movie of the week.

And what was with the 10,000 jokes about Janet Reno?
