Wow, way to throw ice water in our pants. both of you.

As long as the fuel lasted JPM was going to win that. At least he didn't have to boot anyone off to do it.

I know just the flames back and forth don't seem they warrant a ban, but I often just use temp bans to test a user. The users with heads on straight are capable of a mature discussion or phone call offline to argue their case or apologize for their wrongs. The ones that fail the test expose their flaming, argumentative, and troll like behavior clearly after a temp ban. Those users are not wanted around FerrariChat.com, right Noah? :D I had a 6th sense about this user and although I suspected I was right, I left it open with a temp ban that I might have made a mistake.

Well, I guess I'm getting pretty good at this, because 'The K Reloaded' showed his true colors…

    No thanks needed. :)

None given, maybe you should cool off a bit and re read your posts in a few days. Your site, your rules- fine with me but his opinions should be welcome as this is a "forum" right? I mean after all you were the one making the silly comments about talent levels & spec miata that seemed to start this ball rolling. The idea that the ban is based on a "6th sense" and the person failed to call you to defend himself , after the fact, is pure BS, get off you high horse Rob.

    Thanks Rob

We all like a good debate, but this guy is showing no respect and talking down to people even after he's been asked to ease up.

We should show a little respect...when asked too.
This guy was turning up the heat, when Rob asked him nicely to turn it down a notch.

Its not the content of what he said that got him banned, its the direction of his attack (personal) that was heading in a bad direction.

I don't like Juan, I don't like NASCAR, and I rib Juan fans. That's it. 'The K Reloaded' is the one that initiated personal attacks and flaming towards me in general, not my view of Juan. That is against our rules plain and simple, those users aren't needed here. The rest of you had no problem taking the ribbing and making mature arguments for Juan. Notice he's the only one banned. The rest of you didn't break any forum rules and degrade our community.

Maybe I was just reading his words closer as they were directed at me, but for you light speed readers...

Sorry if you don't like my efforts to enforce rules and keep FerrariChat.com a nice place to be. I have to make tough decisions and I've become very adept at user types and which ones are good for the community and which ones aren't. No one is keeping anyone here that doesn't like my efforts.

Remember Rob, that the "ribbing" or humor alibi that you are clinging to is a two way street.

I am certainly not a Nascar fan, but ended up watching the after-coverage on Speed when I clicked over to see if Wind Tunnel was on.

I about died laughing - they just kept showing JPM passing people on the brakes in right hand turns. Wonder if the coverage was a little tongue-in-cheek about Nascar drivers only being able to turn left? :D

And to hear one driver complaining about having to worry about fuel mileage/consumption was classic.

Exactly and that's what I consider everything with you and others in this thread. What I got in return from only "The K Reloaded" was personal and flaming. Much different, some can't tell, but I can. Its my experience and job to know.

Draconian as it may seem to some, in the end....it's Rob's sandbox. He can do as he pleases.

On another note, I'm glad to see Juan win a race in NASCAR. I just wish the announcers would stop saying "So now Juan Pablo Montoya has joined Elite Ranks of winners in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series." 7 Formula 1 wins seems a bit more like "Elite Ranking" to me.

I tried to post Sunday but mysteriously I can't find it. What I said was:

Jeff Gordon went from 41st to 7th. +34 positions.

JPM went from 32nd to 1st. +31 positions.

Jeff Gordon is still in first place. What place is "finger boy" (aka the whiner)? LOL :D

    DON'T Watch NASCAR,

    BUT

Since I only live a couple miles away, I could hear the engines from doing the BBQ in back yard, so

watched it via back yard window and had outside speakers on...ONLY good thing about this is JPM somewhat proves what I've said about true course types,.....F1 drivers can beat the pants of ovals....

BTW, anyone ever go by a track where there are NASCAR people all over the place....quite the dedicated bunch.....

ONLY HOPE Infineon gets F1 someday....
