Bro, if you saw the size of the porkchop that kicked the ball and the speed...

I swear, I just had enough time to turn my head and it hit the left side of my face. Sounds funny, but **** it hurt!

    ;)

Anyways, on to more important things.

I just spotted 3 of the first Canadian spec Lotus Elises. Fresh in the wrapper. Grey, Red and a sweet looking British racing green with blacked out wheels and hard top. SICK!

These cars are awesome. I am sure you guys will see one at the Autoshow.
I am DYING to drive one, they are apparently AWESOME. A legal track car for the streets I tell yah.

    Cheers,

Thats damn good news on the Elise.

Spots for the past couple of days include: on Wednesday, Silver Q-porte at Queensway by Sherway Gardens, Black Maser Spider in a lot at University and Adelaide. Today, a black Conti Flying Spur went past me on the DVP. i guess that would be enough to warrant consideration for winter beater status, if it was actually winter right now.

Silver Cayman S in the Forest Hill Village this morning.

I'm still uncertain about that car, but I'll definitely have an opinion after I drive it.

If you are gonna take a swing at it at least drive the Turbo. I drove one of the first Turbo's delivered (Seal Grey on Black) and it was nice, great quality interior and obviously brutal take off. But it still does not make sense to me. It hasnt grown on me.

However, on a positive note now-a-days you can get a used turbo for a great deal which makes it a bit more desirable. Definetly a nice city beater I guess.

I know the Turbos very well, 993 and 996. Never drove the old skool ones, though. For the $$$ of the Cayman, I'm not impressed.

The 911's a better choice for me with lil' buckaroo, but I'm thinking about getting an all-year-round 2 seater for myself and leaving the other car (whatever that's going to be, as I think there's a big dog joining the family soon) for my lovely bride.

B., trust me I know there is a huge difference with the 911 turbo's. That car makes sense. The Cayenne is just a designer thing. Unless you Tekart/Gemballa the crap out of it then it might catch my attention.

Get an old school turbo 85-89. Gotta love those, hit the gas count a few seconds of lag....then hold on for dear life ;) Thanks to KDS for me getting my 89 Turbo (Cabby) fill recently. A sick, sick ride!!! Its been a couple years since I've been in an old turbo.

They fixed that turbo lag followed by an ungodly kick right after on the 993's LOL.

    Vasco.

P.S How can you NOT love this face? (993GT2)

Love that 993GT2. Sweet, sweet car.

I think you misunderstood me, though. I was talking about the Cayman, not the Cayenne.

I just got back from the show, there are some nice supprised, Gulf Ford GT, SLR, Carrera GT, beautiful classics...plus the expected M5, M6 & E55 Estate that impressed me for some reason. There is a BMW 1-Series in the economical car section. And numerous concepts including the Shelby roadster concept.

The Ferrari stand had a F430 Spider, 575SA, 612, QP, Gran Sport and two Maserati coupes. I also found out that the Dayton Spider that they have is one they shopped the roof off, so its a real Daytona, but not one of the 122 Spiders. The guy working there was nice too.

Oh and I spotted fellow Fchater Julien aka ZORRO. Nice to see him again.
