    In the case of the 599 crashed at RA, it turns out that there is a loophole in MPIC insurance that covers closed course accidents. The public insurance company is just now trying to close that loophole.

    Welcome! There are quite a few in Winnipeg. I personally know of 5-430's 3-360's a couple of cali's a 599 and a bunch of 3x8's a couple of 355's and i've heard there are a couple of testarossa's besides mine but i have not seen one. Not a common sight on the streets of Winnipeg for numerous reasons I suppose. I can't see me driving mine anytime soon considering the status of our beautiful roads ;) The difficulty with owning one of the newer cars would be getting it serviced for anything other than routine maintenance. Like I had stated in a previous post you can call Stef Franz at Eurocars in Winnipeg, great guy, straight shooter will give you the pro's and con's of Ferrari ownership.

    New Pcar sighting in Regina! 997.1 GT3, just a permit on it right now so she must be new to town. As a fellow porsche owner Id prefer seeing parked in a garage out of the snow!!

    There was a rumour floating around a few years ago that a Veyron was living in Calgary and it was basically a piece of garage art as the owner couldn't drive it on public roads.

    Hey jgmblair, we do have a few Ferraris in Winnipeg, we have an informal, "Cars and Coffee" at the Starbuck's on Taylor Saturday mornings at 10 although they haven't started yet this year because of the snow, ice, potholes and generally cold weather, but that's about the change! Keep us in mind, just drop in, we're mostly harmless! There are other Testarossas. a couple of Lambos, Panteras, Maseratis, Aston Martins, plus all the F-cars. Ciao!
