    Hi - any ideas what this is ? Disappears after a minute - only in one side ?

    My guess would be a bearing in the pulley that drives that accessory belt.

    It's the chain drive on the cams, the oil additive Turtella takes care of it but as far as I know it doesn't hurt anything. I've never used the additive and I've never had a problem. Once the car warms up it disappears.
