My 328 had Goodyear tires (OEM) that were replaced with Pirelli's of the SAME
dimensions. My question is, should the tire pressure be the same or is there
some variation depending on the tire manufacturer? Thnx.

Different tires prefer different pressures. Same size doesn't necessarily matter. Typically, you want to get the pressures up in the front where the car turns-in as precise as it can, then tune the pressures in the rear for any slight oversteer/understeer characteristics.

Which Pirellis did you opt for?

    Randy,

Thanks. I opted for the PZero Nero's. 205/55 front and 225/50 rear.

    Ron,

I have, front and rear 2.6 bar checked when cold, although tyre pressures are a personal thing and these figures can vary slightly.

Thanks Malcolm. I talked to the manager (w/c I should have done before)
of the shop that installed the tires...he said to follow Ferrari's recommended
pressure. 2.6 bar should be pretty close to the recommended rear tire pressure. The front is lower, somewhere close to 2.2 (about 32 psi). Thanks again.
