    Just getting my 512tr back on the road, and I need new tires. The obvious choice is the Michelin PS2. I can get the correct size, rated correctly, and a good reputation. Problem is price! Locally, my installed cost is approx. $1700. I recently put Micheling PS4 on my 360, and really like them. Michelin makes the correct size for the the front (235-40-18) but not the rear. The closest size is 285-35-18 (stock is 295-35-18) See photo!

    So just throwing that out there, does anyone have an opinion on the viability of making this substitution? They have an 186mph speed rating, so I think I'm covered in that department! LOL!
    Visually, my only concern would be the diameter, and not sure my eye would could pick up .2 of and inch.
    I can get the PS4 installed for approx $1300

    I just put pirellis on mine and they look fantastic and perform better.
